Big news: We are going to try having our monthly Fishing Challenges again.
They will be held the Saturday following the monthly meeting,
Here’s the layout:
Entry $10.00 per boat (can be one, two, three fishermen per boat) (you can Pay at weigh-in)
You must text Stacy Rolins at: 404-391-0104 when launching and tell him how many you have fishing (include yourself, of course. Example: # I have 2) ..
Lines in the water at 6:45 am (you can put in and fish where ever you like)
Bring fish pictures showing full length of fish and clear image of length on measuring device. to Weigh-in at Hammond’s Fishing Center at 12:30 pm sharp (if you’re late, sorry, out of luck)
Winning weigh-in will be “5 best fish” (alive) This month we will be measuring, taking a picture and releasing the fish. We hope this will have the least impact to the spawning crappie. The winning team will be based on the largest crappie.
Afterwards we will go to the “Burger and Shake” for lunch. Often in the past, the “winner” of the Challenge has paid for the meal, and anything not covered was split among the rest. Works out good for everyone!
